There are a number of ways we can help you study when finance is an issue.
- First, check out the various government schemes to help people study, including the student loans and allowances administered by StudyLink.
- The Ministry of Education also administers scholarship programmes for trainee teachers.
- If you are working in mental health and wanting to study, you may be eligible for a mental health support worker training grant.
- For information and help on paying for your studies, budgeting and managing money, you can also go to Sorted students, a section of the New Zealand Retirement Commission’s website to help New Zealanders manage their personal finances.
