Fees and costs

Course fees

All courses have an enrolment fee, which varies depending on the qualification you are enrolling in and whether you are a New Zealand student or an international student. For specific course fees, you need to refer to the course information.

All fees are expressed in New Zealand dollars, are inclusive of 15% GST and apply worldwide. If you are studying with us while living outside New Zealand, your fees are exempt from GST. The fees shown on this website are correct at time of publication and may be subject to change. Exact fees will confirmed as part of your enrolment.

Annual administration fee

In addition to your course fees, you will need to pay an annual administration fee of $60.00 for your first enrolment each year.

International handling charge

If you are living outside New Zealand and your course material is supplied in print, you will need to pay an international handling charge. For trimesterised courses, this charge is paid once per trimester, and for open courses, this is paid with each enrolment. The appropriate charge will be added to the course fees and invoiced with each enrolment.

Textbooks

You may need textbooks for some courses. There is more information in the course information that we send you when you enrol. The cost of set texts is not included in your enrolment fee.

Financial support

We have scholarships and loans available to assist some students.

Alternatively, you may be eligible for a student loan or allowance or a training incentive allowance from StudyLink or Work and Income.
