This diploma provides an introduction to general psychological principles for those looking for a career in health, social services or counselling. It won’t allow you to be registered as a counsellor or practise counselling, but it will equip you with a basic knowledge of relevant psychology issues and counselling skills.
This diploma will suit those who have been away from study for some time, or who wish to staircase into the higher diploma or degree levels.
Approximately 10-12 hours study time per week for each 20 credit course. Your workload may be higher around assessment due dates or exam time.
