OP5101 Certificate in Cataloguing

This programme is designed to provide a specialist qualification in cataloguing and classification. It is open to any student who wishes to take it, although experience working in a library would be useful.

You will learn about the rules and standards which are used in cataloguing and classification, about contemporary issues affecting cataloguing and catalogue management, about library technical services generally, and about the basic principles and procedures relating to information systems.

The courses involved can be put towards the ILS level 5 diploma or degree.

Must have 60 credits at NCEA Level 3.
