OP2244 Certificate of Achievement in Gasfitting Relicensing

This programme is designed for registered gasfitters and craftsman gasfitters to fulfil the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board's competence based licensing requirements.

PGDB Requirement

Registered Gasfitters must gain a minimum of 16 credits per annum, as determined by the Board, of accredited professional development per year.

2. Computing Courses - PGDB credit weighting for each of the units below is 2

Note: Students must have access to a PC, printer and the correct software to be able to complete these courses successfully. You must also indicate on your self select form the Software Application you will be using.

  • US101 Develop and use keyboarding skills to enter text (Microsoft Word program required)
  • US102 Consolidate keyboarding skills and develop keyboarding accuracy (Microsoft Word program required)
  • US103 Use data entry skills to input computer data (Microsoft Word and Excel programs required)
  • US111 Operate a word processor (Microsoft Word program required)
  • US2780 Operate and maintain a personal computer system (Microsoft Word program required)
  • US2781 Manage and protect data in a personal computer system (Microsoft Word program required)
  • US2784 Create and use a simple computer spreadsheet to solve a programme (Microsoft Excel program required)
  • US2786 Create and use a simple computer flatfile database to solve a programme (Microsoft Access program required)
  • US2791 Integrate spreadsheet and database data into a word processed document to solve a programme (Microsoft Access program required)

You may enrol at any time of the year. Enrolments are valid for 12 months from the date of enrolment. New Zealanders living overseas should check availability and the fees before enrolling.

Anyone can complete the courses, however to gain credits persons must be a registered gasfitters to satisfy the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board requirements for competence based licensing.
