NZIM Diploma in Management
The courses for this Diploma are offered by The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and can be completed under the NZDipBus programme or the Bachelor of Business programme. For the NZIM Diploma qualification you need to register your passes with NZIM. Registration fee information and forms required are available from NZIM.
NZIM Diploma in Management (under the NZDipBus programme)
With an NZIM Diploma in Management in hand, the doors to middle management could well open for you.
Study more advanced skills and techniques that may see you taking charge of a group, section or department. Topics include employment related practices, introductory level accounting, computing, economics, marketing and more.

On completion of a further six NZDipBus courses students can gain the New Zealand Diploma in Business. This Diploma may also be studied under the Bachelor of Business Programme as below.
NZIM Diploma in Management (under the BBus programme)
To complete an NZIM Diploma in Management, you will be required to pass a total of six courses, selected from the following:

* This is a New Zealand Diploma in Business course. It will be able to be cross credited to the Bachelor of Business as an unspecified credit.
While enrolled in the Bachelor of Business programme, you may be able to simultaneously complete the NZIM Diploma in Management.
If you wish to qualify for the NZIM award at the same time as you complete your Bachelor of Business, you will need to register with the New Zealand Institute of Management.

If you have already partially completed NZIM qualifications at another organisation and wish to transfer them to The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand for completion under the Bachelor of Business programme, you will need to have your intended course of study approved by both the Academic Adviser of The Open Polytechnic and NZIM.
The NZIM Diploma in Management is also offered under the New Zealand Diploma in Business, Programme code NC5121. Please note that the paper selection is different and most papers will NOT cross credit to the Bachelor of Business degree.

For the New Zealand Diploma in Business:
Under 20 years - must have 6th Form Certificate with aggregate of best 4 to total no more than 20 or NCEA equivalent 60 credits.
Over 20 years - open entry.
For the Bachelor of Business:
20 years of age or older, or have a B Bursary.
