NC5501 National Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) (Version 4)
If you're working in the role of a pharmacy technician in either a community or hospital pharmacy, this programme will give you a recognised qualification.
The programme allows you to mix on-the-job learning and experience with relevant theory and knowledge. Your pharmacist will be your workplace mentor while The Open Polytechnic is responsible for your training in theory, and the assessment of your progress.
Please note: The National Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) has been redeveloped and the current programme for 2009 is being revised. You will need to enrol in the revised programme if this is your first enrolment in the pharmacy programme. To find out more please contact the Programme Coordinator.
