NC5222 New Zealand Certificate in Family Day Care: Caregivers

This programme is specifically tailored for educators/caregivers who wish to work, or are already working, with infants, toddlers and young children in a home-based setting. The first module is a prerequisite for many Family Day Care Providers. It is also a partial requirement for Rate 2 funding from the Ministry. The programme is mentor-assessed which means that a tutor will visit students in their own home to support them in developing skills in working with children.
