Support for students and staff in relation to learning

The Learning Centre is part of the Centre for Academic Development Matauranga Tiketike in Faculty and contributes to Polytechnic-wide strategies aimed at student engagement, retention and success. The Learning Advisers have a wide range of experience and expertise and work to support students and staff in relation to learning.

We offer general learning advice and support as well as specialist advice in the areas of literacy, learning disability and ESOL. In addition, the Kaiārahi Akoranga Māori/Learning Adviser Māori provides resources and develops strategies, in collaboration with tutors, to support Maori learners.
